Since I won’t be traveling to BEA this year, I’m really excited to participate in Armchair BEA. 🙂 This is my introduction post, letting other Armchair BEA participants learn a little more about me. There are ten questions posted here, and we are to pick a max of 5 to answer. My answers follow. Please let me know if you’re participating in Armchair BEA as well…it’s going to be a lot of fun! I’d love to check out your posts.

Please tell us a little bit about yourself: Who are you? How long have you been blogging? Why did you get into blogging? Where in the world are you blogging from?
Okay, let’s see. Who am I? I’m a 30 1/2 year old mama from eastern Ohio. I’ve been blogging since September 2012 and learn something new about blogging every day! It’s a huge part of each day – I’m always thinking about whether something that happened would be good to blog about. 🙂 I started blogging because I was following lots of blogs and thought to myself that it was something I really wanted to try! Shortly after starting my blog, I discovered that there were lots of book blogging opportunities, and wow – I was hooked!

What is your favorite blogging resource?
My favorite blogging resource by far is the Ultimate Book Blogger Plugin from Creative Whim. I’m still learning the ins and outs of it, but I love it so much! It has so many neat features, and even more that I haven’t started utilizing yet. As a book blogger, it is the best blogging investment I’ve made.

What book would you love to see as a movie?
The One & Only by Emily Giffin. I recently read this one and it’s so crazy and complicated and I can’t stop thinking about it. It would be a crazy movie for sure.

What genre do you read the most? I love to read because ___________________ .
I think it is probably a tie between cozy mysteries and romance as the genres I read the most. I have an entire bookcase dedicated to cozy mysteries…and even then, they are double stacked front to back and again top to bottom. I love to read because I never get tired of that feeling of traveling somewhere new. Reading a book is a journey and it’s always exciting for me!

    1. Hi Monika! Thank you for stopping by. 🙂 LOL Cozies are like that…they tend to sneak up on you! I love that there are so many sub genres and series within the cozy genre. Lots of fun! Going to check out your intro post now.

  1. Love the colours on your blog. Gorgeous! I want to move one day to WordPress and be able to have Creative Whim’s book plug in. Have been looking at it for ages. I have never read a cosy mystery, but have one lined up to read for a challenge. Perhaps I will get hooked. Enjoy Armchair BEA

    1. Hi Kathryn! Thank you so much. 🙂 I hope you enjoy the cozy that’s coming up for your challenge. It is such a fun genre. Have a great time with Armchair BEA!

  2. I love romances and cozy mysteries but read so little adult fiction. I’m a bit jealous, but I do love middle grade fiction. Have fun with Armchair BEA.

    1. Hello! Thank you for stopping by. 🙂 I enjoy middle grade and YA, too. I’m reasonably sure I like just about every genre!

  3. The book blogger plugin is one of the reasons I was thinking about transferring to WordPress. It sounds like such a handy plugin! Reading is also a journey for me. I love being transported to a completely other world 🙂

    1. Hi Mel! Thanks for stopping by. I started out my blogging journey on WordPress and only earlier this year discovered the awesome plugin. I can’t imagine book blogging without it, now. Well, I can, but I don’t like it LOL.

  4. I really love this plug in as well! Such a good thought to highlight it – I really should have!!

I’m so glad to find more 30-something momma bloggers today! I thought I was alone in the book blogging world. 😉

    1. Hi Emily! Yes, I love the plug-in. Once I quit being stubborn and started using it, I love it!

Yep, lots of us in that club. 😀 Books and kiddos lol.

  5. Oooo~ Mysteries, I don’t do cozy but romance mysteries is do. LOL And yes, I too love reading romances, mainly Historical but anything with romance really. But have your read Confessions by Carey Baldwin? Really good!!

    1. I haven’t heard of that, but I’m definitely going to check it out! I love romance & mystery intertwined. 🙂 Hi Ki! 😀

    1. Hi Freda! Thanks for checking out my post. I bought the plug-in and then was stubborn about using it because I was stuck in my way of setting up posts lol. Once I started playing around with it…ahh it is so great! Really nice to be able to fill in the blanks. 🙂
