#1 New York Times bestselling author Ilona Andrews launches a brand new Hidden Legacy series, in which one woman must place her trust in a seductive, dangerous man who sets off an even more dangerous desire…

Nevada Baylor is faced with the most challenging case of her detective career—a suicide mission to bring in a suspect in a volatile case. Nevada isn’t sure she has the chops. Her quarry is a Prime, the highest rank of magic user, who can set anyone and anything on fire.

Then she’s kidnapped by Connor “Mad” Rogan—a darkly tempting billionaire with equally devastating powers. Torn between wanting to run or surrender to their overwhelming attraction, Nevada must join forces with Rogan to stay alive.

Rogan’s after the same target, so he needs Nevada. But she’s getting under his skin, making him care about someone other than himself for a change. And, as Rogan has learned, love can be as perilous as death, especially in the magic world.

bookreview
Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews is the first book in the new Hidden Legacy series. I devoured this hot paranormal urban fantasy. I loved every minute of it. This story is amazing. Nevada Baylor has the ability to be a human lie detector. Her magic allows her to know with complete accuracy whether someone is telling the truth. While this can be handy in her private investigator business, it is not very helpful in the relationship department.

Mad Rogan is a prime with the power to destroy entire cities. He is cold, closed off and used to getting his way through any means necessary. He will use people, money and his power to get what he wants. But Nevada is a different story entirely. They have to work together to bring down Adam Pierce and stop a plot to destroy the city of Houston.

I loved the different elements of the story. The magic and the Houses were interesting and really lent well to the book. The action was nonstop. The sexual tension was out of this world and didn’t stop even when the book ended. I loved reading Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews and hated that it ended. I really can’t wait for the next Hidden Legacy novel!

I received an early paperback ARC because I’m part of the #AvonAddicts – this did not influence my review.
